for STUDIO12
1. General Information
Welcome to Studio12! These terms apply to all services provided by Studio12, including the sale of Tango classes and workshops through our online booking system. By purchasing our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. The data controller is Studio12 (Jörg Michael Palm, VAT ID: CZ750854445). We handle your information as follows:
- Data collection: We collect your personal data (name, email address, phone number and payment details) solely to process your bookings and payments.
- Use of data: To process bookings and payments; to send booking confirmations and updates; and to provide you with important information related to purchased services.
- Third‑party sharing: Your data may be shared with our payment processor, PayU, exclusively for payment processing. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Data security: Your data is stored securely and we use standard encryption to protect your information during transactions. For details on how PayU handles your data, please refer to their Privacy Policy.
3. Payment Terms
All payments for classes and workshops are processed securely via PayU. By making a payment you agree to the following:
- Payment methods: We accept credit/debit cards and other methods supported by PayU.
- Pricing: All prices are in Czech crowns (CZK), VAT included where applicable.
- Refunds & cancellations: Refunds are possible only if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the class or workshop. Missed classes are non‑refundable.
- Class cancellation: Studio12 reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a refund or the option to move their booking to a future class.
- Payment disputes: If you encounter a payment issue, please contact us at info@studio12.cz.
4. Claims & Complaints Rule (Webshop Credits)
If you purchased lesson credits via the webshop, you may cancel your order at any time and we will refund the money to your account within 7 days.
5. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1 day.
4. Booking Policy
- Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received.
- All purchased credits or packages are valid for the period stated. Unused credits will not be refunded or transferred.
- Studio12 reserves the right to limit the number of participants per class to ensure quality.
5. Use of Studio Premises
Studio12 is intended exclusively for private training and tango classes. Any commercial use, including recording promotional videos, requires prior consent.
6. Disclaimer
- Studio12 is not responsible for injuries sustained during classes or private training.
- Studio12 is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings on the premises.
Participants are responsible for ensuring their physical fitness and health before attending classes.

Right of Withdrawal & Complaints Policy
1. Withdrawal Policy
1.1. Right to withdraw
Customers may withdraw from a purchase at any time before or after the transaction, regardless of whether the service/product has been used or made available. No justification is required.
1.2. Withdrawal process
To start the withdrawal, send a written request via email to info@studio12.cz with the subject “Withdrawal Request”. Include the order number and customer name.
1.3. Refund rules
Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving the withdrawal request and paid via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. No transaction fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
1.4. Partial refunds for unused services
If you purchased a package but used only part of the services, you are entitled to a refund for the unused portion, calculated pro‑rata based on remaining sessions/credits.
1.5. Exceptions
There are no exceptions to the right of withdrawal. All purchases are eligible for full or partial refunds upon request.
2. Complaints Procedure
2.1. Submitting a complaint
If you are not satisfied with a product or service, you may submit a written complaint at any time to info@studio12.cz. Please include details such as order number, nature of the problem, and any relevant supporting documents.
2.2. Review process
Each complaint will be reviewed within 7 business days. If needed, we may contact you for clarification.
2.3. Resolution & response
A formal response describing the resolution will be provided within 7 business days of receiving the complaint. If further investigation is required, we will inform you about the expected timeframe.
Addendum: Studio Rental Terms
Bookings & Payments
- Bookings are made exclusively via the online calendar using credits: Rental calendar.
- Minimum booking duration: 30 minutes.
- Hourly rate: 7:00–9:00 → 20 credits (200 CZK), 9:00–17:00 → 25 credits (250 CZK), 17:00–22:00 → 40 credits (400 CZK).
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 8 hours before the start time.
- For timely cancellations, credits are automatically returned to the user account.
- Late cancellation or no‑show results in forfeited credits.
Use of Space
- The studio may be used for various purposes (private practice, lessons, filming, etc.) in line with agreed rules.
- Users must keep the premises tidy and restore the space to its original condition after use.
- Please respect quiet hours and building safety rules.
